Completely Unexpected Tales, by Roald Dahl."He is my favorite author. This is composed of different stories and these stories have twists in the end. I think that many young readers would like to read this awesome book." Also,

The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux."The book I read was an abridged version. Its something I think that readers who like adventure books would like to read."

--Mary Ann

Ella Enchanted, by Gail Carson Levine. "All of my friends love it, and so do I! It's about a girl named Ella who is cursed at birth. A fairy gave her the gift of obedience, and Ella must obey every command given to her. At the age of 15, she becomes determined to break free of the curse. This story is also like Cinderella. (You can see where the name Ella came from) This is really a great book, and it would be a good thing to add to the book list. Thanks!"

--Dawn

Please, please, please, by Rachel Vail "was a good book for girls who are going through problems. It's about a girl that has been in ballet for many years and she wants to quit because she thinks it's time that she turns into a normal teenager instead of someone who must eat on a very strict diet and miss out on school activites. But, her mom thinks that she is very talented and says she must stay in ballet. Soon CJ gets so frustated at everyone, she lies. Majorly. And there comes major trouble with major lies! I recommend it for any girl that thinks she is being forced into doing something."

Filled with laughter and exitement, hopes and sorrow, it will reach in and pull out your adventurous side.Milo and Otis are a team of a wiley little kitten and a courageous but friendly little pup. How I'd Celebrate My First Period:
(Click on the Globe in Danielle's Library)

"Tell Mom and go out for ice cream. That's what I did."

--anonymous

"I would celebrate my period by first passing out and then screaming and then crying and then being happy that i could finally bleed all the time on a regular basis."

--Jeepi

"I would scream to death!"

--Chelsea

"The way I would want to celebrate my first period would be a party, to me from all my friends. Celebrating it, since I am the last person to get it in 'the gang'. We could have pizza, breadsticks, dj's and everything!"
